This pair of antique Victorian era black leather jet beaded button strap Mary Jane shoes date from 1900. They are made of black leather, with black jet beaded straps. These beautiful black beaded Mary Jane style shoes have three cut out straps across the instep front vamps with side button closures and stacked black wooden French Louis XV heels. They have an embossed label inside from "Mandell's Northampton" shoe store. The shoes measure 11 inches long, 3 inches wide and have 1 1/2 inch high heels. These antique shoes are difficult to size for today's foot but my guess would be approximately a US size 7 narrow width. They are in good condition and have been gently worn, with only some tiny scuffs on the leather. These are truly beautiful quality made antique shoes!
