This pair of Edwardian era vintage JW Robinson Co Los Angeles black silk damask brocade tongue shoes date from 1910. They are made of a black silk damask floral brocade patterned fabric. These beautiful black brocade evening shoes have a slip on style, with a large flared tongue and silk covered French Louis XV heels. They are have a "JW Robinson Co. Los Angeles" label stamped inside and size 3B. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 2 1/2 inch high heel. They have been gently worn and are in good condition, with only a few tiny frayed splits in the silk fabric (see close-up). These are truly a wonderful unique quality made shoe!
