This pair of vintage Edwardian Titania era blue silk gold lamé damask brocade feather trim shoes date from 1912. They are made of a blue silk damask, floral leaf brocade patterned gold metallic lamé fabric. These beautiful brocade fancy evening shoes have blue ostrich feather trim pompoms on the front instep vamps, a slip on style, with pointed toes and gold lamé covered French Louis XV spool heels. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 3 inch high heel and are stamped inside a size 4. They have been gently worn and are in as-is fair condition, with several frayed splits on the blue silk brocade fabric back side heels and some molting missing feathers (see close-up). These are truly a wonderful unique quality made shoe!
