This pair of vintage Laird Schober & Co brown leather alligator slingback platform shoes date from the 1940s. They are made of a brown leather, with a faux alligator print stamped pattern design. These sensational swing dance shoes pumps have a slip on style, with adjustable buckle slingback strap, peek-a-boo open toes, a slight platform lift front and modified boulevard heels. There is a gold embossed stamped label from "Laird Schober & Co." on the insoles. The shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 3 inch high heels and are stamped inside a size 7 AAAA. They are in good condition and have been gently worn. These are truly a wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art!
