This pair of antique Victorian era burgundy quilted silk steel cut beaded velvet trim slipper shoes date from 1890. They are made of a dark red burgundy color silk fabric with quilted stitching, reddish brown velvet trim around the top and steel cut beaded ombre chenille embroidery work on the front toes. These charming cozy warm winter slip-on slipper style house shoes have long front tongues, squared toes, with hard leather soles stamped with a 4 on the bottom, stacked wooden low French Louis XV heels and are lined in a flannel fleece fabric. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 1 inch high heel. They are in good condition and have been gently worn. These are truly a wonderful unique piece of wearable antique Victoriana shoe art!
