This pair of antique Victorian era vintage Edwin Clapp Shoe mens black leather high button boots date from 1900. They are made of black leather, with decorative punch work trim across the front toes. These handsome dapper mens ankle boots have rounded capped toes, 6 black shoe buttons along the side for closure and low stacked wooden cube heels. They are stamped inside with "The Edwin Clapp Shoe" label and come with the original wooden shoe tree forms. The boots measure 5 1/2 inches tall, 12 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. They are in good condition, with only some faint scuff marks on the toes, cracked crease marks on the back and the inside top leather lining is flaking, missing in areas. These are truly a beautiful quality made antique boot and rare find!
