Edwardian Black & Tan Two Tone Leather Lacing Cutouts High Top Boots Shoes. Tweet
|
This pair of antique Edwardian era black and tan two tone leather lacing cutouts high top boots shoes date from 1910. They are made of a two tone color combination of a tan leather upper boot and black patent leather lower shoe, with whip stitch lacing decorative cutouts and punch work trim edging. The boots have the original black shoe string laces, rounded toes and low stacked black wooden cube heels. The boots measure 8 inches tall, 10 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 1 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot but my guess would be about a size 7 narrow width. They have been gently worn and are in good condition, with only a few faint water spot stains on the leather and some chips on the bottom heels. These are truly a beautiful quality made boot which would be great for display! |
