This pair of Edwardian era vintage J&T Cousins Co. New York chocolate brown silk button strap Mary Jane shoes date from 1915. They are made of a dark chocolate brown color silk satin fabric. These charming womens Mary Jane style shoes have a criss crossing X double button strap closures across the front instep vamps, pointed toes, silk covered French Louis XV heels and are lined in leather. They are stamped inside "J&T Cousins Co. New York" The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide and have 2 inch high heels. My guess on size would be about a 6 or 7 narrow width. They have been gently worn and are in good condition. These are truly beautiful quality made shoe!
