This pair of antique Victorian era black wool and leather high button baby boots child's shoes date from 1890. They are made of a two tone black wool fabric top and black patent leather bottom shoe, with 6 black buttons down the side for closure. There are rounded toes, a low heel and hard leather black soles with a slight heel lift and are stamped on the bottom a size 4. The boots measure 5 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches long and are 2 inches wide. These charming child's high top button baby boots have been gently worn and are in good as-is condition, with some scuff marks on the leather and there is some fraying along the top of one shoe with a missing piece (see close-up). These are truly a quality made children's shoe!
