This pair of vintage Morocco ladies mules cherbil knotted metal embroidery velvet slipper shoes date from the early 1900s. They are hand stitched, made of an ecru cream color velvet fabric, with hand embroidered gold and silver gilded wire thread embroidery couching needlework, braided trim and raised knotted button accents. These ladies stunning slip-on slipper shoe, mules cherbil can be worn backless with the heel folded down or up and have pointed toes, multi layered stacked leather bottom soles and are fully lined in tooled leather. The shoes measure 10 inches long and 3 inches wide. They are in good condition and have been gently worn, with only some slight staining discoloration. These are truly a beautiful one of a kind piece of wearable antique Moroccan textile art!
