This pair of vintage Thayer McNeil Co. Boston black silk beaded buckle eyelet flapper shoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a black silk satin fabric with black beaded buckle trim on the front instep vamps. These fabulous flapper shoes have decorative eyelet cut out openings along the sides with lacing closures and silk covered cube heels. They are stamped inside the insole with a "Thayer McNeil Company Boston" label. The shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, with a 2 inch high heel. My guess on size would be a 7 narrow width. They have been gently worn and are in good condition. These are truly beautiful quality made shoe!
