Victorian Antique Brown Leather Steel Cut Beaded 5 Button Strap Shoes They are made of a dark brown leather with silver steel cut beading along the button straps, black silk bow trim on the instep vamps and beaded rosette flowers on the toes.

This pair of antique Victorian era brown leather steel cut beaded five button strap shoes date from 1800. They are made of a dark brown leather with silver steel cut beading along the button straps, black silk bow trim on the instep vamps and beaded rosette flowers on the toes. These beautiful beaded evening shoes have five black buttons cutout straps going across the front instep for closure and a black leather covered low Louis XV French heel. The shoes measure 9 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 2 inch high heels. They are in poor as-is condition, wear, cracking, peeling of the leather in areas, a frayed tear on the back of one heel, a few tiny frays on the silk bow trim and there are some missing beads (see close-ups). These are truly a rare and beautiful quality made antique shoe which would be great for display!
