This pair of vintage Chinese blue silk colorful floral lotus embroidered heel shoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a royal blue color silk fabric, with colorful silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work flowers including lotus flowers embroidered on the front toes. These slipper style slip-on shoes have hard leather bottom soles, blue silk covered heels and are fully lined in linen, with a "Made in China" size 5 ink stamp label inside. The shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 1 1/2 inch high heels and are approximately a size 6 narrow width. They appear to have never been worn and are in excellent wearable condition. These are truly a wonderful piece of antique Chinese wearable shoe art!
