Unworn Edwardian Two Tone Tan Leather Oxford Button Strap Shoes and Box.
Unworn Edwardian Two Tone Tan Leather Oxford Button Strap Shoes & Box
They are made of a two tone tan brown color leather. These beautiful brown shoes are an Oxford Mary Jane style with double button strap closures, pointed toes and leather covered Louis XV French spool heels.

This pair of unworn antique Edwardian era two tone tan leather Oxford button strap shoes and box dates from 1910. They are made of a two tone tan brown color leather. These beautiful brown shoes are an Oxford Mary Jane style with double button strap closures, pointed toes and leather covered Louis XV French spool heels. They come in the original shoe box covered with a wonderful spider web cobweb graphics foil paper from "The Harris Shoe Store" in Dover, New Jersey and are stamped on the outside of the box a size 36. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 3 inches wide, with a 2 inch high heel. These antique shoes are difficult to size for today's foot, but my guess would be about a US size 6 or 7 narrow width. They have never been worn, and are old store stock stored away in a basement of the store since 1910. The shoe box is in as-is condition with some wear, damage around the outer cardboard paper edging. These are truly a wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art!
