This pair of antique Edwardian era aubergine leather steel cut beaded buckle pointed toe shoes date from 1910. They are made of a dark purplish brown aubergine eggplant color leather, with steel cut beaded buckle trim on the front instep vamps. These elegant evening shoes have a slip on slipper style, with exaggerated pointed toes, leather covered French Louis XV spool heels, steel cut beaded buckles and are lined in leather with an embossed stamped "The Emporium San Francisco" store label inside and size 6 AA on the bottom soles. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inch high heel. They have been gently worn and are in good condition, with only a lift on the leather lining under the back of one heel and the buckle trim has some slight rust discoloration and is loose needing to be stitched onto the shoe (see close-ups). These are truly a beautiful quality made antique shoe!
