This pair of unworn antique Edwardian era two tone brown high top laceup cloth boots and shoe box dates from 1910. They are made of a two tone chocolate brown color cloth wool top and dark brown leather bottom shoe with decorative punchwork designs. These beautiful boots have a two tone color combo, with pointed toes, the original brown shoe string laces for closure, stacked wooden French spool heels and are embossed stamped inside "Harris Shoe Store Dover, N.J.". They come in the original shoe box covered with a wonderful spider web cobweb graphics foil paper from "The Harris Shoe Store" in Dover, New Jersey and are stamped on the outside of the box a European size 38. The boots measure 11 inches tall, 11 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 3 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot and are approximately a US size 7 1/2 or 8 narrow width. They have never been worn and are old store stock stored away in a basement of the store since 1910 and are in excellent wearable condition. The shoe box has some water damage. These are truly a rare good size and wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art! $150 |
