This pair of antique Victorian era black leather Lancashire English workwear children's clogs shoes date from 1890. They are made of a black kip leather treated with waxes and oils to make it hard, strong and waterproof. These children's clogs workwear shoes have a low slip on style, with rounded steel toecaps, a wooden, leather hard bottom sole with brass nails stamped a size 6, a low stacked wooden heel and heel lift strap tab on the back. The shoes measure 6 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide and 1/4 inch heel. They appear unworn and are in good condition, with only a missing back strap tab on the back of one shoe with flaking leather from storage (see close-up).
