This pair of unworn antique Victorian era F. Mayer B & S Co. black wool cloth leather lace-up boots date from 1880. They are made of a black cloth wool fabric and black leather bottom shoe with decorative trim accents. These beautiful black boots have pointed toes, the black shoe string laces and low stacked wooden black French Louis XV heels. They are stamped on the bottom leather soles "Milwaukee F. Mayer B. & S. Co. Trade Mark Custom Made" shoe company. The boots measure 8 inches tall, 10 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with a 1 inch high heel. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot and are approximately a US size 6 narrow width. They are old store stock, vintage deadstock, in unworn good wearable condition, with only a few frayed nips on the wool fabric (see close-up).
