This pair of unworn antique Edwardian era black cloth top, kid leather button boots and spiderweb shoe box date from 1910. They are made of black wool cloth fabric upper boot and black kid leather lower shoe. These womens beautiful black boots have pointed toes, 15 black shoe buttons along the side for closure and black stacked wooden French spool heels. They come in the original shoe box covered with a decorative blue silver foil spiderweb graphic print paper from "The Harris Shoe Store" in Dover, New Jersey and are stamped on the outside of the box a European size 36. The boots measure 9 1/2 inches tall, 10 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with a 2 1/2 inch high heel and are approximately a US size 7 narrow width. They have never been worn, and are vintage dead stock, old store stock stored away in a basement of a store since 1910. The shoe box has some wear, water spots on the outer cardboard paper and the boots are in excellent wearable condition. These are truly a wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art! $200 |
