Unworn Edwardian Gunmetal Gray Black Leather Cloth High Top Button Boots & Shoe Box. Tweet
|
This pair of unworn antique Edwardian era gunmetal gray black leather cloth high top button boots and shoe box date from 1910. They are made of a gunmetal gray blackish color leather shoe and cloth fabric upper boot. These womens beautiful black boots have rounded toes, 14 black shoe buttons along the side for closure, black stacked wooden cube heels and are stamped "Cushion Flexible" on the bottom leather soles. They come in the original shoe box covered with a wood grain graphics paper from "The Harris Shoe Store" in Dover, New Jersey and are stamped on the outside of the box size 435. The boots measure 8 inches tall, 9 1/2 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with 2 1/4 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot, but my guess would be approximately a US size 6 or 7 narrow width. They have never been worn in excellent wearable condition and are vintage deadstock, old store stock stored away in a basement of the store since 1910. The shoe box has some wear with water spot stains and a broken lid top from storage. These are truly a wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art! $150 |
