This
exquisite antique beaded Oriental rug purse dates from the 1920s.
It is made up of tiny silver steel cut, gold and colored glass beads
all hand sewn into an abstract Oriental rug design. The purse has
1 1/2 inch long fringe hanging from the bottom. There is an open
top with no closure and two silver beaded strap handles which need
to be reattached to the top for carrying. The inside is fully lined
in a purple plum silk brocade fabric. This magnificent large size
heavily beaded purse measures 10 1/2 inches long and 7 1/4 inches
wide. It is in excellent useable condition with no missing beads
and vivid colors. $200 |
