exquisite antique embroidered flower basket net lace bedspread dates
from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer off white tambour embroidered
net done in a floral vine leaf pattern design, with Valencienne
lace trim insert edging. There are circular white cotton batiste
center medallions with colorful raised padded satin stitch hand
embroidery work and french knots done in a floral and flower basket
design. This lovely lace bedspread bed cover is a work of art, and
is a kind of sampler of a variety of lace techniques. The bedspread
has a built in pillow sham sewn along the top. This beautiful bedspread
measures 103 inches long and 94 inches wide. It is in excellent
clean condition and is a rare and wonderful piece of antique lace
