Antique Ipswich Hosiery Box & Black Silk Stockings. |
This antique Ipswich Hosiery box and pair of black silk stockings date from the early 1900s. The stockings are made of a black lisle fine cotton silk thread blend, with a decorative white stitched striped arrow design pattern along the sides. These ladies lovely long thigh high quality made stockings socks measure 28 inches long, with a 10 inch foot and are in excellent clean condition and have never been worn. Included with the stockings is an Ipswich Hosiery box with the logo of a witch riding a stocking broomstick on the front. The box has some minor wear from age.
