This antique Art Deco beaded silver compact minaudiere purse dates from the roaring 1920s. It is made of a silver plate filigree metal frame, with a colorful blue, peach, gray and green hand beaded swirling Art Deco design pattern center on both the front and back. There is a ball clasp frame closure on the top, with a silver plate chain link strap for carrying on the wrist. This pretty petite minaudiere compact purse has pink silk lined compartment pockets inside containing a small beveled mirror and celluloid comb and gold metallic pink silk trim edging. The oval shaped purse measures 3 1/2 by 3 inches and is in excellent condition. This is truly a rare piece of Art Deco French Flapper art.
