This antique gold crochet lace tassel silk drawstring purse dates from 1915. The purse is hand stitched, made of a gold metallic crochet lace sheer overlay, with a reddish orange silk satin fabric backing lining. There are small gold metallic tassel trim hanging down from the bottom and drawstring top. This pretty pouch purse has a draping fold over skirted top, with drawstring rope strap for carrying. It is fully lined inside in a black cotton fabric. The purse measures 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, with 3 1/2 inch tassels. It is in excellent condition and comes with a hand stitched orange silk chiffon handkerchief with ecru floral applique's and rolled hem edging. This is a wonderful piece of antique textile lace art.
