This vintage Elégance Paris magazine plastic clutch purse dates from the 1970s. It is made of hard plastic and covered with a "Elégance Paris" magazine cover, with photography by Curtis Cooper. This unique clutch style purse has a white leather strap, a gold buckle snap closure and is fully lined in a black nylon fabric with inside pocket. This unique retro magazine style of purse was popular in the 1970s and 1980s which were an Italian invention to deter thieves. Purse snatchers would see them and think they were rolled up magazines not handbags and pass them by. They are a sort of pop art icon. This purse measures 12 inches long, 6 inches wide and 12 inches in circumference. It is in excellent clean useable condition.
