This vintage hand embroidered Irish linen lace banquet tablecloth and 10 napkins dates from the 1950s. It is made of an off white ecru color "Pure Irish Linen", with hand embroidered cut work and Point de Venise style needle lace inserts with connecting bride bars. There is a decorative rococo scroll work, floral leaf design pattern. This lovely lace large banquet size tablecloth measures from corner to corner 105 inches long and 64 inches wide. Included are 10 matching embroidered linen napkins, with lace trim edging. The large dinner size napkins measure 16 by 16 inches, with an additional 1 inch lace border. This magnificent table covering has wonderful quality workmanship, with an Italian flair. There is an "Oriental Star Made in China" label sewn onto the back corner of the tablecloth. The set is in excellent clean condition and looks to have never been used.
