Description. This antique Victorian era sewing turned carved wood and bone bodkin needle cases date from the 1870s. These lovely ladies dainty petite sewing implement tools include two bodkin needle cases. One is made a turned carved bone, with a brass ring around the middle screw top lid. The needle case measures 3 1/3 inches long. The second case is made of a hand carved turned wood, with lid top and measures 3 3/4 inches long. They both contain needles and are in good condition, with only some minor wear. A charming collection of sewing implement needle cases!
