This Edwardian era antique ecru linen red silk stripe carved wood handle summer parasol dates from 1910. It is made of an ecru color linen fabric, with a red silk stripe pattern. There is a hand carved blonde wood curled handle and metal capped tip finial top with gathered scrunchie fabric trim. This pretty parasol umbrella has a pagoda dome shape, with black metal frame inside, original strap from keeping closed and white silk tassel trim. The parasol measures 40 inches long and 104 inches in circumference when opened. It is in good useable condition, with only some faint age spotting discoloration along the folds from storage. This is truly a rare and wonderful parasol perfect for an Edwardian era ladies summer beach outing!
