This vintage antique Point de Venise lace cutwork banquet tablecloth and 12 napkins dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white ecru color Point de Venise needle lace; heavy firm button hole stitches form a needlepoint guipure lace, with heavy outlining cordonnet and connecting bride bars. There is a decorative sheer cutwork rococo, floral leaf design pattern. This lovely lace large banquet size tablecloth measures 88 inches long and 72 inches wide. Included are 12 ecru color natural unbleached flax linen napkins, with matching Point de Venise lace trim edging. The large dinner size napkins measure 16 by 16 inches. This magnificent table covering has wonderful quality workmanship, with an Italian flair. The set has been gently used and is in good condition, with only a small faint age spot stain near the center (see close-up). This is a wonderful piece of antique textile lace art!
