These antique Victorian era gentlemen's Crown Make purple pansy embroidered white silk suspenders braces date from 1890. They are made of white silk, with purple pansy flowers and yellow ears of wheat done in raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work. There is a decorative yellow stitched french knot border edging. The suspenders are backed in a purple lilac color silk fabric, with white leather button loop attachments on front, a "Crown Make" silver embossed strap on back and silver metal hardware adjustable brackets on the front. The suspenders measure 38 inches long and are 2 inches wide. These beautiful braces suspenders are in good wearable condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of men's Victoriana textile art!
