This antique Edwardian era Royal Worcester Corset Company advertising busk clasp historical lot dates from 1917. Included in the lot is a advertising salesman sample enlarged wooden model replica of the old fashioned clasp and new improved O-I-C corset clasp from the Royal Worcester Corset Company, Worcester, Mass. printed on both sides. Also included are 4 pairs of metal, nickel plated corset busks with clasps in varying sizes along with dated 1912 and 1917 copies of the US Patent Office paperwork and inventors illustrations of each clasp design. These are a museum deaccession and come with all the documented paper work. This is truly a rare and wonderful collection of antique corset advertising and sample inventions historical costume related material memorabilia!
