This Edwardian era antique ecru raw silk carved wood handle summer pagoda parasol dates from 1910. It is made of an ecru color raw silk fabric, with a drawn cut work edging. There is a hand carved engraved wood handle and metal capped tip finial top with gathered scrunchie fabric trim. This pretty parasol umbrella has a pagoda dome shape, with black metal frame inside, green silk lining, original ring for keeping closed and silk rope tassel trim. The parasol measures 43 inches long and 88 inches in circumference when opened. It is in good useable condition, with some water spot staining discoloration, some fraying of the inside green silk lining and the bottom tassel fringe is missing. This is a wonderful parasol perfect for an Edwardian era ladies summer outing!
