This antique Victorian era Geslin A Paris France black Chantilly lace French fan dates from 1900. It is made of a sheer fine delicate black net Chantilly lace, with a fancy floral foliage leaf pattern outlined in black threads with detailed shading effects and a scalloped edging. There are faux tortoise shell celluloid sticks and guards, with loop and rivet holding it together on the bottom and is engraved in gold lettering "Geslin A Paris". The fan measures 13 inches long and 34 inches wide when open. It is in good useable condition, with only a few tiny breaks in the net lace (see close-ups). This lovely lace fabulous French fan is a wonderful piece of antique textile lace art!
