This vintage antique rosette net princess bobbin lace bedspread shawl dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white ecru cream color sheer net fabric, with a fancy princess lace, battenburg style tape lace, duchesse and mixed Brussels bobbin lace appliqued, done in a scrolling, spiraling, floral rosette leaf pattern design. This lovely lace beautiful bedspread bed cover has a built in pillow sham at the top. There is no side dust ruffle drape and could be re-purposed used as a bridal wedding veil, shawl or dress fabric. The bedspread measures 100 inches long and 44 inches wide. It is in good useable condition. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of antique lace textile art which would make a gorgeous wedding gown! $350 |
