This Titanic era large antique colorful micro beaded jewel frame purse dates from 1912. It is hand beaded with bright colorful tiny micro beads done in a decorative basket weave lattice floral design done on both sides. There is a tri color beaded loop fringe trim along the bottom. This beautiful beaded handbag purse has an ornate silver metal engraved jeweled frame with ball clasp closure on top and silver metal chain link carrying strap handle. It is lined in a beige silk fabric inside and comes with a small silk coin purse and round mirror. The purse measures 11 inches long and 8 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only the inside silk lining frayed (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique beaded textile art! $200 |
