This antique Edwardian era embroidered white cotton carved wood handle summer parasol dates from 1910. It is made of sheer white cotton batiste fabric, with cream color raised padded satin stitch embroidery and soutache work daisy flowers. This pretty parasol umbrella has a hand carved engraved wood handle with a silk ribbon bow and finial top with gathered scrunchie fabric trim. The parasol measures 37 inches long and 112 inches in circumference when opened. It is in good useable condition, with only some slight faint yellowing discoloration from storage. This is truly a wonderful parasol perfect for an Edwardian era ladies tea party, stroll on the beach or summer outing!
