This antique Chinese colorful gold wrapped knotted silk fringe tassel trim dates from the late 19th century during the Qing Dynasty. It is hand stitched and made of colorful pastel silk fringe tassels wrapped in gold metallic thread and knotted decorative design. This large tassel trim would have been used as decoration hanging from a skirt belt, purse or wall hanging and has a long rope string loop at the top for attaching. There are 10 tassels attached together. It measures 58 inches long, 5 inches wide and is in good condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Chinese textile art!
