It is made of an off white ecru cream color sheer cotton mesh net fabric, with a variety of needlework lace techniques.

This Victorian era antique Point de Venise lace floral bird net fringe drapery curtain panel dates from 1900. It is made of an off white ecru cream color sheer cotton mesh net fabric, with a variety of needlework lace techniques. There is Point de Venise lace with buttonhole stitches, a hexagonal meshwork oval medallion with a pair of birds and a floral urn decorative design, a Reticella lace trim border, with embroidered floral vine leaves and fringe trim ends. This lovely lace single drapery curtain panel has both a fringe trim top and bottom which could be draped over a rod or also has a rod pocket sewn along the top for hanging. The curtain panel measures 85 inches long and 47 inches wide, with an additional 6 inch long fringe. It is in good condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique lace textile art!
