These paisley shawls were made in Kashmir, Persia, India and Europe in Scotland at Paisley itself. This stunning shawl has wonderful workmanship and detail with a colorful striped floral leaf, boteh tear drop shape design and green selvage along the side edgings, with a fringed border trim on the top and bottom. This outstanding oversized large banquet size shawl throw tablecover measures 130 inches long and 60 inches wide. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned with some small stains near the side edgings and some missing fringe trim off the ends. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique paisley textile art!
