It is hand beaded with primarily black & silver beads, with an abstract Art Deco design done in pink, yellow and blue beading on both sides.

This vintage Art Deco black and silver beaded fringe drawstring flapper purse dates from the roaring 1920s. It is hand beaded with primarily black & silver beads, with an abstract Art Deco design done in pink, yellow and blue beading on both sides. There is a silver & black loop fringe trim hanging down from the bottom. This fabulous flapper handbag purse has an inner black silk drawstring closure with silk rope ties, beaded ball trim ends and a beaded arm loop strap on top for carrying. The purse measures 15 1/2 inches long and 7 inches wide. It is in good condition, with no loose or missing beads, just a small fray on the silk drawstring rope strap. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique beaded Art Deco textile art!
