Antique Cream Net Tambour Embroidery Lace Floral Cutwork Bedspread This antique cream net tambour embroidery lace floral cutwork bedspread dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white ecru cream color cotton sheer net fabric, with tambour, raised padded satin stitch embroidery lace cutwork with connecting brides and bars.

This antique cream net tambour embroidery lace floral cutwork bedspread dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white ecru cream color cotton sheer net fabric, with tambour, raised padded satin stitch embroidery lace cutwork with connecting brides and bars. There is a decorative rose flower, heart shape medallion circular design in the center and floral vine leaves surrounding it. This beautiful bedspread bed cover is a work of art and would have been used in a lady's private boudoir bedroom. The bedspread measures 108 inches long, 60 inches wide, with an additional 18 inch drape dust ruffle on each side. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned and has a small stain ring circle near the top corner, a smaller age spot stain near the center and a few tiny holes near the side dust ruffle. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique lace textile art!
