It is made of a variety of colorful floral, calico print cotton fabrics and dyed ikat patterns created in a scrappy pieced patchwork design. There are hand embroidered decorative stitching quilted details with fringed fabric ragged tassel ends. This unique Uzbek Tajik textile showcases an assortment of textures with small tiled patches, pieced, sewn together and hanging down from the long valance top in rows. The textile is reversible and would have been used as a camel trapping decoration for a wedding ceremony and would make a beautiful wall hanging. It measures 100 inches long and is 31 inches wide.
