It is hand stitched, made of a black cotton fabric completely covered with vibrant colorful silk threads done in raised padded satin stitch Matyo embroidery work. There is a floral pattern design densely embroidered onto the fabric, with a green & cream leaf embroidered edging trim border. The embroidery work is exquisitely done with wonderful workmanship. This round tablecloth doily measures 105 inches in circumference. It is in good condition, but is missing the fringe trim which would have surrounded it and has been cut off. This is a truly a wonderful piece of Hungarian textile folk art!
