It is hand stitched, made of a colorful woven silk damask brocade French fabric with a floral vine leaf pattern weave design, blue selvage trim edging along one side and is fully lined backed in a gold silk fabric. This fabulous French dress fabric remnant square has gold rings sewn on the back for hanging. The fabric measures 25 by 25 inches. It is in good condition, with only some faint age spot staining discoloration. This is truly an amazing piece of early 18th century textile art!
