This vintage angelic cherub cupid petit point needlepoint embroidered clutch purse dates from the 1920s. It is made of colorful pastel petit point needlepoint hand embroidery work done in an angelic cherub cupid trio design on the front and floral design on the back. This pretty purse has a clutch envelope style, with a fold over flap snap closure, blue and yellow silk moire lined with inside pockets, beveled mirror insert and two small coin purses. The purse measures 7 inches long and 5 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only some minor wear, fraying along the bottom edging and inside silk lining inside. This is truly an exquisitely embroidered piece of textile art!
