The little girl resembles the Dolly Dingle illustrations done by Grace Drayton and is the same type of child illustration which later became the Campbell Soup Kids.

This vintage Beistle die cut Valentine card fold out pleated tissue paper folding fan dates from the 1920s. It is made of a colorful lithographed cardboard sticks on each end, with a cute little girl on one side and a Valentine message on the other. The little girl resembles the Dolly Dingle illustrations done by Grace Drayton and is the same type of child illustration which later became the Campbell Soup Kids. There is a honeycomb tissue paper pleated inside which fans out when opened. This sweet Valentines day card folding fan is missing the rivet on the bottom holding it together and has been replaced with a white ribbon strung through it and is stamped on one end "Beistle" and "Printed in U.S.A" on the other end. The fan measures 8 1/2 inches long and 13 1/2 inches wide when opened. It is in good as-is condition, missing the bottom rivet, with a tear on the bottom and the tissue paper has some fade discoloration (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of Valentines Day fan art!
