This antique Victorian era blue polka dot white cotton calico print wrapper bustle dress nightgown dates from 1870. It is made of a white cotton, blue circle polka dot pattern print calico fabric. This womens wrapper style morning dress nightgown has a bustle back with pleated gathering, an adjustable tie back sash, a high neck band collar, ruched gathering on the front yoke, long full sleeves with flared ruffle cuffs, a side patch pocket, button closures on the front and is unlined. The dress measures 53 inches long, with a 36 inch bust, 32 inch waist, 46 inch hips, 21 inch long sleeves and 12 inch back shoulder seam. It is in good as-is condition, has not been laundered, with a few faint small stains, a small mended repair on the bottom back skirt and shoulder (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana textile art!
