This
antique Edwardian era ecru linen ladies walking suit skirt dates
from 1905. It is made of a heavy quality made ecru color linen fabric.
This lovely ladies long floor length full skirt has a draping pleated
back, scalloped trim sides with large mother of pearl buttons and
hook & eye closure. It would have been worn for travel and part
of a walking suit, perhaps worn when driving in a motor car. The
skirt measures 42 inches long, with 48 inch hips and a 24 inch waist.
It is in excellent wearable condition with only some faint discoloration
on the fabric.
