Vintage Artistic Peacock Painted Purple Teal Velvet Robe Coat Large Size
This vintage artistic peacock painted purple velvet robe coat dates from the 1980s. It is made of a purple and teal color velvet fabric, with colorful painted peacocks and peony flowers outlined in gold paint highlights. There is a purple floral open cut work crochet velvet collar, cuffs and front opening trim. This lovely large size loose fitting long robe style coat jacket, has a wide fold over collar, long full sleeves, side pockets and hidden button closures down the front. It is fully lined in a dark purple satin fabric, with slight shoulder padding. The coat measures 44 inches long, with 56 inch hips, waist, bust, a 19 inch back and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition. This artistic Art Nouveau inspired style coat is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
